Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation Service
We provide assessment and evidence-based treatment for dizziness and balance disorders.
The assessment and treatment may consist of a combination of specific eye, head, walking and balance exercises as well as clinical manoeuvres dependent on your condition.
We are a short term service providing care to help people recover and self-manage their condition.
We treat a variety of conditions including:
- acoustic neuromas (Vestibular Schwannoma)
- autoimmune ear disorders
- age-related vestibular loss
- Bilateral Vestibulopathy (pharmacologically induced)
- BBPV
- central disorders (brainstem/cerebellar stroke, demyelination)
- Mal De Debarquement
- Meniere's Disease
- Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)
- Vestibular Migraine
- Vestibular Neuritis / Labyrinthitis (Unilateral Vestibulopathy)
- visually-induced dizziness.
Referrals
Once we have received a referral, we will triage it and and place it on our waiting list.
