Led by Duncan Young and Peter Watkinson, the Critical Care Research Group undertakes a programme of research which focuses on the identification of early patient deterioration and long-term clinical outcomes of patients who have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
The research team has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and designs mixed methods projects to enable a breadth of research questions to be addressed.
