An Introduction to the NHS - three day programme

The programme is varied, and students get an insight into the different departments/specialties across the Oxford hospitals.

Students who undertook the 2016 programme were placed in the Oxford Transplant Centre, Upper GI Surgery at the Churchill site, the Trauma Unit, the Microbiology laboratories, the Oxford Eye Hospital at the JR site and the Oxford Centre for Enablement at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre to name but a few.

How to apply

Application forms are now available to download and are to be returned electronically to the address on the form.

We regret that applications received after the closing date of 26 February 2017 will not be considered.

We will acknowledge receipt of all applications, and let students know the outcome (whether successful or unsuccessful) week commencing 20 March 2017.

Unfortunately we cannot respond to individual enquiries about the status of applications due to the high number we receive.
