Further information

Most of you will already have received running numbers in the post. You are ready to run and do not need to sign in on the day.

This number is unique to you and runners will be tracked, giving everyone an exact time. Times will be available on the day and will also be printed in the Oxford Mail. Please take care with the number and follow the instructions on its reverse.

If you haven't received your number, please collect it on the day from 8.45am and before 9.45am at the registration tent by the Pleasure Gardens, Blenheim Palace.

Entrance to the grounds is by the Hensington Gate on the A44 Oxford Road and is free to runners and their supporters with free parking available. For Google maps and sat nav the postcode is OX20 1PX. The roads around and into Blenheim Palace will be very busy so please allow plenty of time for your journey.

If you are driving to the event, once in the grounds, you will be directed to the large field car park near the Pleasure Gardens by stewards. Please follow their directions and drive carefully when entering and exiting the car park and venue.

The 'Zumba' style warm up with George Martini starts at 10.00am - it's great fun and the perfect way to get ready for the main event.

After the warm up, runners will be escorted to the start line to the rear of the Pleasure Gardens. The run gets under way at 10.30am and finishes near the Pleasure Gardens where the warm up takes place.

Please bring along safety pins for your runner's number.

Water is provided at the halfway mark. You may like to bring along your own water bottle as well.

You can run with a buggy and with well-behaved dogs - but please start nearer the back of the group and be considerate to other runners.

Walkers are welcome, as are spectators.

Storage facilities are not available.

Photos from the run will be available on our Facebook page and via twitter (@OxHospCharity) and in the Oxford Mail next week.

If you have any other questions please email charity@ouh.nhs.uk or call 01865 743445.

The office will close at 3.00pm on Friday 24 March. If your query is after that, message us on Twitter or Facebook.

Thank you to everyone who got involved in this year's OX5RUN

The run also benefits children's care across Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, via our 'Fund for Children', which supports children's care at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Horton General Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.

Participating and raising valuable funds allows us to provide the best possible equipment and facilities for our young patients and their families, going above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide.

Just five miles and every penny of sponsorship makes all the difference.

Thank you for your support!
