Two of our apprentices, and our Apprenticeship Team, are all finalists in the 2019 Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards. The announcements were made on Twitter during 'Oxford Apprenticeship Hour' (#OAHour) on Thursday 7 March 2019.
The OUH Apprenticeship Team works with and supports the apprentices in the Trust, helping to make their experience as positive as possible. The team is now a finalist in the Employer of the Year (50+ employees) Award category.
"The staff here were absolutely amazing."
Himashu Jasmat, Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice
"They nurture you and look after you so much, and you learn so much from them - they treat you like a colleague, not a little kid!"
Hafsah Rana, Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice
Mahrya Zulfaqar, Nursing Associate Trainee, is a Shining Star Award finalist.
Mahrya says: "It really means a lot. I would like to thank Claire and Tim my Manager for thinking I was capable enough of being put forward for this award. Thank you so much."
Hafsah Rana, Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice, is a finalist in the Advanced Apprentice Award category.
Hafsah says: "I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship for anyone in my situation. I wish they had promoted them in schools more too."
Winners will be announced on 4 April 2019. Congratulations to our finalists and very best of luck!
