Magnetic resonance imaging assessment of portal hypertension and liver function

Trial categories: MRI

Sponsoring organisation: University of Oxford

Healthy volunteers needed for research study: can MRI scans assess liver disease?

We're developing new MRI scans to assess patients with liver disease to help improve their management.

We need healthy volunteers to see what normal scans look like.

Participation will involve 1-2 visits to the John Radcliffe Hospital or Southampton General Hospital.

Travel and food will be reimbursed.

The study is being run by the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research and the Translational Gastroenterology Unit, University of Oxford, and is funded by the National Institute of Health Research.

Please contact Dr Christina Levick if interested.
