Liezel Ermitanio was also nominated for a DAISY Award by David Beeson.
David said, "My family was impressed by the excellent care my mother received in the last weeks of her life at the John Radcliffe where she died. She provided uniformly excellent care to my mother and, as we could see, to the other patients on the ward.
"She kept her team focused, delivering great care and, at the same time, showed great concern for our wellbeing, keeping us informed and being highly supportive.
"However tough things became, she seemed to rise about the circumstances."
