This article is more than five years old.

Our annual Staff Recognition Awards celebrate Oxford University Hospitals staff, volunteers and fundraisers who have gone the extra mile to make a difference to our patients.

More than 1,000 nominations were received for this year's Staff Recognition Awards, and we can now reveal the shortlist of three nominees in each category.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Oxford Town Hall on Wednesday 5 December 2018, supported by the generosity of Oxford Hospitals Charity.

In a message to staff announcing the shortlist, Trust Chairman, Dame Fiona Caldicott and Chief Executive, Dr Bruno Holthof said:

"Congratulations to all staff, volunteers and fundraisers who were nominated for this year's awards. Every single nominee is to be congratulated for being recognised in this way for everything that they do every day to provide excellent and compassionate care.

"We would like to thank Oxford Hospitals Charity for generously supporting our Staff Recognition Awards. The awards ceremony at Oxford Town Hall promises to be a memorable and inspiring evening."
