Rasmeet Chadha: Outstanding Allied Health Professional

Rasmeet Chadha, Optometrist and Lead for Childhood Low Vision at Oxford University Hospitals, has won the award for Outstanding Allied Health Professional at the Bayer 2017 Ophthalmology Honours awards.

The ceremony was held on Wednesday 6 December at BMA House, London.

Our congratulations go to her for this great achievement.

Rasmeet is also Deputy Chair of the Low Vision Group for Oxfordshire and Optometry Lead for Age-related Macular Degeneration at the Trust.

The awards programme, now in its third year, facilitated by Bayer and supported by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and Visionary, recognises and celebrates the outstanding work being carried out by multidisciplinary teams in ophthalmology throughout the UK and identifies exceptional initiatives that demonstrate clinical excellence and innovation in the area.
