Free sanitary products are now available to staff working for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH).

As part of the Trust's Cost of Living commitment and working collaboratively with the OUH Women's Network, free sanitary product dispensers are now fitted in staff toilets across all hospital sites, with alternative provisions to be made at OUH@Cowley and other satellite sites.

In a message to OUH staff to mark International Women's Day, Chief Executive Professor Meghana Pandit said: "This is a small but significant step to addressing women’s health in the workplace. I understand that it is easy to talk about these subjects, and something else entirely to put actions in place. I am thankful to the teams that have made this happen."

The Trust is also hosting an event to discuss a range of topics including a reflection on the work of the Women's Network, clinical innovation, and women's health in the workplace, as well as a panel discussion chaired by Professor Pandit.
