All staff working at Oxford University Hospitals are being encouraged to have their say and make their voices heard by taking part in this year's NHS Staff Survey which was launched today (Monday 26 September).

In a personal message to all OUH staff to launch the annual survey, Terry Roberts and Rachel Stanfield (Joint Chief People Officer) said: "The Trust Board is committed to listening to you and acting on what you say about what is working well and what could be improved. This will help us to achieve the vision set out in the OUH People Plan – that together we can make OUH a great place to work where we all feel we belong.

"Last year we achieved our best ever Staff Survey response rate and this helped to ensure that we maintained a focus right up to Trust Board level on key areas such as health and wellbeing, and equality, diversity and inclusion. The results also helped to inform our OUH People Plan 2022-25.

"We have asked all line managers to enable their teams to take 15 minutes of protected time, within their working hours, to complete the survey."

The NHS Staff Survey is completely confidential. An independent, external company called Picker manages the whole process on behalf of OUH and no one in the Trust can access individual staff responses or identify staff from the answers.
