Delicious hot drinks are on sale once again at the Churchill Hospital following the opening of a new Costa Coffee store.

The new outlet opened for business at the main entrance to the hospital ready to serve up drinks to staff and visitors on Tuesday 30 April (2019).

Based where The Coffee House used to be, improvements include a revamped coffee bar, a refreshment fridge with drinks and sandwiches, and more seating and table space.

WHSmith is the franchise partner managing the Costa Coffee shop. They have also recently introduced M&S food products to the adjacent WHSmith Churchill store, increasing choice and convenience for customers.

Rainer Buhler, General Manager of Surgery, Women's and Oncology Division at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which runs the hospital, said: "We are very pleased to welcome both Costa and the Marks and Spencer food selections in WHSmith to the Churchill Hospital, and hope that all our staff and visitors will enjoy the wider variety of catering that is now available here."

Andy Leeks, Store Manager at the new Costa Coffee, said: "One of the most exciting things about this store is that it is only the second Costa in the country to merge with WHSmith."

Spencer Sheen, Business Development Director at WHSmith, said: "We are delighted that our WHSmith store at Churchill Hospital now offers M&S food products.

"We have worked closely with M&S to introduce their convenient 'food for now' and 'food for later' ranges to improve the variety of product and services available for NHS staff, patients, and visitors.

"We are also excited to announce the opening of our new Costa Coffee shop providing our customers with their favourite drinks and snacks, as well as a relaxing environment in which to enjoy them."
