Our Specialist Infant Feeding Clinic is open by appointment only on Mondays and Thursdays for outpatients with babies aged seven days to six weeks of age.
Your Midwife, Health Visitor or GP can refer you to our Infant Feeding Clinic, but you can also refer yourself - please call us so we can discuss your needs.

Breast pumps
If you only need a pump for a short period of time, there are options to rent pumps. If you are likely to need it for a prolonged period, you could look into buying your own.
Most community teams have pumps available for hire - get in touch with your community midwife to check availability.
Oxfordshire Breastfeeding Support (OBS) have a small number of pumps available for hire for a maximum of three weeks:

How to find the John Radcliffe Hospital
From the Level 1 Outpatients entrance to the Women's Centre, enter through two sets of glass sliding doors then turn immediately right. Ahead of you will be a set of locked double doors with an entry phone on the left.
Press the buzzer for the Parent Education Room, and we will either invite you in or ask you to take a seat for a moment.
The clinic is on the left a short distance down the corridor. There are signs on the wall above the double doors and suspended from the ceiling in the corridor.
There is also a baby changing / feeding room on Level 1: go in through the Outpatients entrance, walk ahead until you reach the League of Friends' tea bar and the entrance is ahead of you in the back wall.
Research study
Breastfeeding is important for promoting infant growth and development, but some women have problems producing enough breast milk. A research team at the University of Oxford is researching the reasons why this can happen.
