Oxford Acute Referral System (OARS)

OARSOxford Acute Referral System (OARS) is an electronic system to document and manage the acute referral of patients to specialist services at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

OARS aims to improve patient care by documenting all referral discussions that take place. Each discussion can be added to / viewed by any member of the referring team in the same location as the patient.
