Teenagers

We hope to answer your questions about our service and the conditions we treat and perhaps offer a little useful advice.

Why knowledge is important

Understanding the basics behind what condition you have and how we can help is very important. It will enable you to be involved in decision making about your treatment. This means that we can work together to find the best care for you.

Learning about conditions and treatments

Take a look at what's happening to me? for information about conditions we treat and why we recommend certain therapies and medications.

Remember, treatment isn't just about medicines –physiotherapy, occupational therapyand psychology play an important role too.

You may not understand everything straight away. You can use this site whenever you are not sure what we have said or when you have unanswered questions. Alternatively you can call or email Elaine or Ruth (our nurse specialists) and talk things through.

There's even a page on how you can help yourself.

At the end of the day, it is all about you.
