Tendon injuries

Tendons are soft tissues that connect the muscles to the bones.

The most commonly injured tendons around the knee include the patellar tendon and the hamstring tendon. They can be injured acutely with a partial or complete tear, or slowly develop painful inflammation in chronic conditions such as tendinitis.
