The application process for the work experience programme for the summer of 2012 has now closed. All candidates will be advised at a later date whether their application has been successful.
The closing date for applications was 18 March 2012 - please note that applications received after this date unfortunately will not be considered.
Work experience programme
This is a three-day programme entitled 'An Introduction to the NHS', whereby students visit various departments.
The programme runs for 6 weeks from 18 June to 27 July 2012 and is available for 16 to 18 year old students undertaking GCSE or A levels.
Please note that this programme is not specific to medicine.
This programme is available for students living in Oxfordshire or easy commuting distance of our hospitals (we regret that we cannot arrange accommodation).
Work experience direct applications
Students can submit a request for work experience by applying directly to a department/specialty of interest.

Please note that students must be over 16 years of age to be placed in a clinical area. If you are 15 years of age we can only offer you a placement in non-clinical departments.
